Crafty Bastards 2014: I made the cut!

I am so excited to share the news that I was accepted to be a vendor at Crafty Bastards in DC this September 27 & 28. This was my first time applying, so I’m very honored to have made the cut. According to their site, this isn’t so easy to do:

The jury judges applicants based on their artwork and look for high quality, handmade, alternative items. The competition for booths is steep. In past years, we’ve received over 500 applications for 140+ available booth spaces.

Now I must get busy! First step is to finish and launch my Kickstarter project to raise some funds to help me ramp up production of mucho snark certificates. Stay tuned for more.

Crafty Bastards – I’m applying!

Today’s the deadline and I’m now putting the finishing touches on my application to be a vendor at this fall’s Crafty Bastards. I absolutely love this DC-based alternative craft fair, and I’ve always aspired to be a vendor. Now that my Snarky Scouts project is underway, I hope this will be my chance to be a crafty bastard.

Look: Last year I blogged how excited I was about Crafty Bastards. And I wasn’t even a vendor then.

In 2011, I came out in the cold and wet to help Pyramid Atlantic demonstrate letterpress. That's dedication!
